Novule Garden Hotel

Hungarian design furniture found its way into the spaces of the Nuvole Garden luxury hotel perched above Lake Como. Zoltán Varró designed bespoke pieces and, to realise them, called on Dublino, the leading wholesaler of design furniture specialising in public spaces. Thus was born the Dublino by Varrodesign series, whose pieces are at once timeless while — in the creators' signature manner — carrying the marks of contemporary elegance and refinement. The collection of armchairs, dining chairs, bar stools, coffee tables, dining tables and accessory elements also includes a special sofa innovation. The Esteban Lounge Sofa is distinctive in integrating a dual function: on one side it supports rest and relaxation, on the other it serves social life. It can also be ordered with configurable elements and made-to-measure design for both commercial and private use. The furniture is dressed in textiles from Varrodesign's Attitude collection, created together with JAB Anstoetz, which evoke Lake Como, the surrounding mountains, the peacock as a symbol of prosperity, and the centuries-old splendour of Como's villas and gardens — while some pieces also bring to life the designer's recent travels, the corals of Zanzibar, and the mood of Japanese spring and cherry blossom.
